Our story: the founders of Volando Tequila

Two mates. One moment worth sharing.

At the heart of Volando are two Queenslanders who know what it takes to compete at the top.

Jesse Ross boxed for Australia at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Shane Tucker has raced Pro Stock since he was 19, first at home and now in the NHRA series in the United States.

It started in the office late one afternoon: a few mates, a few glasses and a moment to sit back on a week's work well done. They set out to make a tequila worth sharing.

Volando is made with Casa Aceves, a third generation family distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco, inside Mexico's Golden Triangle. Maestros Tequileros César, Álvaro and José Aceves bring generations of tradition to every bottle.
